Abengrace at Level 12

In a couple of days, Abengrace has moved to level 12. He now sports a powerful mace and more heals and spells. He also looks great in his mail boots and wrist guards. Time to take on Hogger, I think. Check back for the results of his battle with this level 11 elite boss.

Shovel it!

My new paladin, Abengrace, picked up a shovel as a weapon from one of the Kobold miners and uses it here against them. It works pretty well, just looks a little silly carrying around a shovel everywhere.

Turkey Hunt!

Here is one of the many turkeys available to hunt during Pilgrim's Harvest. Catch 40 of these in a rolling 30-second time limit and you get a special achievement. Let the hunt begin!

New Character - Abengrace

I had never played a paladin before, and Aaron Ty had been talking about them, so I decided to give one a try. So let me introduce my newest WoW character, Abengrace - a human paladin.

I must say that I'm quite impressed with the amount of damage he can inflict with nothing more than a giant mallet. His healing and spell powers are also quite good. Above is a great action shot of him finishing off a young wolf as his adventures on Azeroth begin.

Kyangrace at 44

Kyangrace has leveled up to 44 and this is his latest outfit. I REALLY like this one ... and so does Aaron Ty. He thinks it makes this human warlock look more like a "good guy". I believe he is correct. This one is very classy and goes along with the fact that he is becoming quite powerful.

He is also the first of our characters to join a battlegrounds event. We lost, but it was interesting and a great learning experience. Kyangrace now has some honor points and earned an achievement for an Honorable Kill.

Pligrim's Bounty is underway

Pilgrim's Bounty, WoW's own Thanksgiving festivities have begun. There were plenty of problems and bugs today, but after some rolling server restarts everything is fixed.

There are several special things happening during this event, including lots of achievements to be earned. Just like in real life, the biggest part of the holiday is food. Most of the achievements surround cooking lots of holiday dishes. Your characters can even sit at a bounty table, like the one above, and enjoy a fine meal of turkey, stuffing, cranberries, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. Each item gives you special abilites for a limited time. You can even partake of a food fight if you so desire.

And let's not forget the turkeys. You can kill turkesy for money, fun, titles or achievements. If you finish off 40 during a rolling 30-second period, you get a nice achievement. Gobble, gobble!

Another New Mount for Kyangrace

Kyangrace, my human warlock, reached level 44 tonight. Along with a couple power upgrades, he also was granted a new magical mount. This one is called DreadSteed. With more armor, horns and fiery hooves, he moves along at plus 100% speed and looks really cool doing it. I guess you could say it's an early Thanksgiving for Kyangrace.
